PM Abiy Ahmed reveals expansion of cluster farming, modern methods to achieve food self-sufficiency

Addis Ababa, July 8, 2024 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD), stated that cluster faming is expanding with large-scale efforts underway to meet nation’s farming targets this rainy season.

“These efforts must be strengthened. We plan to cultivate over 24 million hectares this year, racing against the rain to achieve this goal. Embracing modern methods is crucial for our success. These combined efforts will enable us to achieve food self-sufficiency,” the Premier indicated.
