France commends Ethiopia for its continued role in UN peacekeeping missions

Addis Ababa, June 14, 2024 (FBC) – A French delegation led by France’s Directorate for Security and Defence Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Régis Colcombet, visited the Ethiopian International Peace Support Training Institute.

The French delegation has been briefed by higher officials on Ethiopia’s continued role in the UN Peacekeeping missions and the major activities being carried out the training institute.

General Régis Colcombet appreciated Ethiopia’s continued contribution in the UN Peacekeeping missions both at the continental and international levels.

He further affirmed France’s commitment to support capacity building activities being carried out in the Ethiopian International Peace Support Training Institute.
