Ethiopian Airlines officially resumes daily flights to historical city of Axum

Addis Ababa, June 9, 2024 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Airlines has officially resumed flights to the historical city of Axum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its cultural significance.

CEO of the Ethiopian Airlines, Mesfin Tassew and President of the Interim Administration of Tigray Region, Getachew Reda, in tandem with other federal and regional officials have attended the inaugural ceremony.

The flights to the Ancient City of Axum will be operated daily, according to the Ethiopian Airlines.
