Ethiopian celebrates 10 years anniversary of Addis-Vienna flight route

Addis Ababa, June 8, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopian Airlines celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Vienna-Addis Ababa Flight Route with a magnificent anniversary event. The celebration took place at the House of Strauss in Vienna.

During the celebration, Mr. Lisanework Gorfu, representative from the Permanent Mission of Ethiopia in Geneva attended the occasion and delivered remarks.

In his speech, Mr. Lisanework praised Ethiopian Airlines for its outstanding accomplishments and expressed gratitude for the steadfast support of the Austrian government, which has been instrumental to the airline’s success.

Mr. Lisanework emphasized Ethiopian Airlines’ pivotal role in uniting Africa and connecting Ethiopia with the world, driving economic development, and boosting tourism.

He also appreciated Ethiopian airline for its support in facilitating the Permanent Mission’s activities in Vienna, as per the Ethiopian Permanent Mission to the UN Offices in Geneva.
