Ethiopian, Norwegian PMs hold discussion on COVID-19 crisis

Addis Ababa, May 12, 2020 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed yesterday held a phone conversation with Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway.

In a tweet, the Ethiopian Prime Minister said he had a “fruitful phone call with Erna Solberg on Norway’s continued solidarity and support to Ethiopia.”

“Our partners have been key to us during the COVID-19 crisis as we have witnessed the importance of standing together in trying times,” he added.

During the meeting the two Prime Ministers had last December, Norway agreed to collaborate on rebuilding the Ethiopian navy through the provision of capacity building support.
