MInT, Lenovo discuss cooperation in AI, smart urbanization

Addis Ababa, February 28, 2024 (FBC) – Ethiopia’s Minister of Innovation and Technology, Belete Molla, engaged in dialogue with representatives of Lenovo regarding prospective avenues of collaboration.

It is learned that the discussion revolved around digital transformation, artificial intelligence technologies, smart urbanization, and analogous endeavors in technology transfer and development.

During the meeting, Belete Molla articulated Ethiopia’s endeavors towards formulating a digital transformation strategy aimed at catalyzing technological investment.

For his part, Martin Yala, Relationship Sales Manager at Lenovo East Africa, expressed that the Lenovo Institute of Technology is keen on collaborating in various sectors within Ethiopia. The delegates of the company also delineated their company’s experience on cutting-edge technologies since the establishment of their firm.

They also pledged to contribute to the field in Ethiopia while aiding digital transformation undertakings.
