Leaders of African countries arrive in Addis ahead of AU Summit

Addis Ababa, February 15, 2024 (FBC) – Leaders of African countries have arrived in Addis Ababa ahead of the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of State and Government of the African Union which will be held from 17th to 18th February 2024 in the Ethiopian capital.

President of the Republic of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit and Vice President of Côte d’Ivoire, Tiemoko Meyliet Kone have touched down at Bole International Airport this afternoon.

Up on thier arrival at the Bole International Airport, the leaders were welcomed by high level government officials including the Peace Minister Binalf Andualem and State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, among others.
