3R-4-CACE project provides 35 ambulances, 120 motorbikes to conflict affected regions
Addis Ababa, December 5, 2023 (FBC) – The Response – Recovery – Resilience for Conflict-affected communities in Ethiopia (3R-4-CACE) project, established by the Ministry of Finance based on an agreement reached between the government and the World Bank, has provided 35 ambulances and 120 motorbikes to conflict-affected regions in Ethiopia.
Recipients are 35 conflict-ravaged districts located in Afar, Amhara, Benshangul Gumuz and Oromia Regions.
The project stated, during the handover ceremony, that it is currently purchasing medicines and medical supplies to be distributed to conflict affected areas.
It was stated on the occasion that more than 56,000 desks secured from the project have already been distributed to conflict affected schools.
State Ministers for Health and Finance, Dr. Dereje Duguma and Semereta Sewasew have attended the handover event.
