Ethiopia-Azerbaijan vow to cement inter-parliamentary ties

Addis Ababa, November 24, 2023 (FBC) – Ethiopia and Azerbaijan announced commitments to continue strengthening their inter-parliamentary, diplomacy, economy and public service relations.

Both sides disclosed their commitment after a joint parliamentary forum they held on Thursday.

Chairwoman of the Ethiopia-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Ms. Betelhem Laké, underscored that Ethiopia is desirous to work in cooperation with Azerbaijan in trade, education and investment opportunities.

The members of the Ethio-Azerbaijani parliamentary friendship, on their part, pointed out that the two countries should work diligently to strengthen the comprehensive bilateral relations of the two nations.

Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ethiopia Ruslan Nasibov, said that the two countries will place due emphasis on strengthening their parliamentary relations. He reiterated that he will work diligently so that the countries can achieve progress by sharing their good experiences in all fields.

Ambassador Ruslan also reminded that Azerbaijan is providing educational opportunities to Ethiopian students every year.
