MoFA, ICRC launch a training program on int’l humanitarian law

Addis Ababa, November 21, 2023 (FBC) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross( ICRC), has launched a training program on international humanitarian law (IHL) today.

Ambassador Reta Alemu, Director General for Affairs of International Law at the Ministry, delivered an opening speech for the workshop.

He said the training would help create understanding between stakeholders and legal experts in implementing international agreements and customary laws to save the lives of civilians or innocent lives during conflicts.
