PM Abiy, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan express commitment to build stronger ties

Addis Addis, August 18, 2023 (FBC) – In a bilateral meeting held between Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with their respective delegations, both leaders acknowledged the ever strengthening ties between Ethiopia and the UAE.

In particular they expressed the commitment to build stronger bridges in the benefit of both peoples and for the future generations.

Following the bilateral meeting, the two leaders presided over a signing ceremony of 17 agreements in various sectors, including industry, agriculture, investment and finance.

Recall that the UAE President and his delegation arrived in Addis Ababa earlier today for an official visit and to discuss ways of further strengthening bilateral ties.
