Ethiopia’s COVID-19 cases rise to 69
Addis Ababa, April 11, 2020 (FBC) -Ethiopia has registers four more cases of cases of coronavirus (COVID-19), out of the 345 samples that were tested over the past 24 hours.
This brings the total confirmed cases in the country to 69.
All the confirmed cases are Ethiopian nationals, according to Dr Lia Tadesse, Minister of Health. Three of them have travel history abroad.
The Minister said 10 patients have recovered from the virus.
According to the latest figures from Johns Hopkins University, more than 1.7 million cases of coronavirus have been registered globally.
More than 103,000 people have died and close to 379,000 have recovered from the virus.
