Djibouti’s public diplomacy delegation will visit Ethiopia – MFA Spox

Addis Ababa, June 29, 2023 (FBC) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia announced today that a delegation of Djibouti’s public diplomacy will visit Ethiopia soon.

During his weekly media briefing, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Meles Alem, stated that Djibouti’s public diplomacy consisting of 112 members will visit Ethiopia from July 1 to 7, 2023.

He pointed out that the members of the public diplomacy delegation coming to Ethiopia are made up of academia, journalists, elders, influential individuals and other members of society.

The delegation, during its stay in Ethiopia, will hold public-to-people discussions and participate in the Green Legacy program seedling planting, the Spokesperson confirmed.

Indicating that the delegation’s arrival in Ethiopia will play a positive role in terms of image building, Ambassador Meles said that due emphasis is being paid to economic diplomacy and national image building.
