Ethiopia, India aspire to cement long-standing ties in areas of mutual interest
Addis Ababa, June 13, 2023 (FBC) – Demeke Atnafu Ambulo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the Republic of India presented a copy of his credential to Anshuman Gaur, the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India in New Delhi.
Extending his gratitude to the Chief of Protocol for accepting his copies of credentials, Ambassador Demeke expressed Ethiopia’s desire to further strengthen the existing friendly and historical relations between the two countries in a mutually beneficial manner.
The Ambassador also expressed his readiness to broaden and enhance further excellent cooperation partnership between the two countries in politics, trade and investment, education, capacity building, and other areas of engagement.
The Chief of Protocol Anshuman Gaur, on his part, highlighted India’s long-standing and multifaceted relations with Ethiopia.
He also expressed his hope that the existing good relations between the two countries will further strengthen at the time of the Ambassador’s stay in India, according to the Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi. Furthermore, he promised to work closely with the ambassador for the mutual benefit of the two countries.
