EIC Plans to hold IE2024

Addis Ababa, May 17, 2023 (FBC) – Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC), Temesgen Tilahun, and the EIC delegation have met and discussed with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ethiopia to the People’s Republic of China, Tefera Derbew and Ethiopian embassy staff in Beijing.

During the discussion both sides agreed on the need to systematize, a project-based and proactive Chinese investor’s engagement strategy, streamlined facilitation services and coordinated aftercare support.

The two sides also reviewed the Invest in Ethiopia (IE2023) outcomes and stressed on doing a close follow up and assure timely project conversion activities including advance planning on the next IE2024.
