Amb. Berhanu visits undocumented Ethiopian migrants in Negad Detention center in Djibouti

Addis Ababa, May 3, 2023 (FBC) – Berhanu Tsegaye, Ambassador of Ethiopia to Djibouti, has visited today undocumented Ethiopian migrants staying in Negad Detention Centre, Djibouti.

While speaking to the Ethiopian migrants in the Center, Ambassador Berhanu assured them of the Embassy’s commitment to facilitate their transfer to their country in collaboration with the Djiboutian government.

The Ambassador disclosed via a twitter post that he also discussed detention conditions of the Ethiopian migrants with Lt. Col. Omar Youssouf, head of the Negad Detention Centre.
