Russian private companies keen to share experiences in tech-oriented education
Addis Ababa, April 22, 2023 (FBC) – Minister of State for Innovation and Technology discussed with a delegation of Russian private companies on issues pertaining to their possible involvement in the field of digital economy in Ethiopia.
State Minister Huria Ali consulted with the Russian delegation, led by the Chairperson of the Economic Commission for African Countries, Igor Moronozov.
In their discussions, they advised on issues that could strengthen digital-economy building activities and improve the quality of education through digital technology.
In their discussion with the leadership of the Ministry’s technical committee they deliberated on issues of collaboration in the private sector to ensure equity and access to education.
The members of the Russian delegation highlighted their experience in supporting the education system and economic sector with digital technology in their country as well as in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The delegates confirmed that they are interested in sharing their experiences in digital technology-oriented education and implement them in Ethiopia.
State Minister Huria Ali, on her part, reminded that the relation between Ethiopian and Russian governments and people is characterized by multifaceted cooperations in various areas.
