3rd Ethio-France Economic Bilateral Committee session underway

Addis Ababa, April 19, 2023 (FBC) – The 3rd Ethio-France Economic Bilateral Committee between Ethiopia’s Ministry of Finance and the Embassy of France in Addis Ababa has started Wednesday morning in Addis Ababa.

The closed discussion has brought together Ministry of Finance and French and Ethiopian officials and selected French companies, it is indicated.

Panel discussions will also cover key investment challenges and solutions on “How can French companies support Ethiopian economic transformation?” focusing on the Renewable Energies Sector, FBC can confirm.

Moreover, special guests including Meridiam, General Electric, EDF (Électricité de France S.A), Technip Energies, and TotalEnergies will engage this afternoon.

It is also noted that the Ethio-French Business Club’s (CAFÉ) will present its latest Business Climate Report based on a study conducted among more than 50 FR companies.
