Visit of Italian PM, Slovenian FM demonstrates Ethiopia’s path to normalize ties with partners
Addis Ababa, April 12, 2023 (FBC) – The visit of the Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni and Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Tanja Fajon, to Ethiopia demonstrates Ethiopia’s encouraging path to expedite re-engagement and normalize its relations with its partners, said Ambassador Meles Alem, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
During his weekly press briefing today, the Spokesperson said the high-profile European officials’ visit to Ethiopia is also recognition of the country’s efforts to ensure lasting peace in the country.
He spoke about the arrival of a delegation of the Global Black History, Heritage & Education Center from London in Addis Ababa. The delegation will meet high-profile Gov’t officials in their efforts to establish a Headquarters in Ethiopia that cherishes Pan-African values.
The briefing also included information on the various forums and expos to be held in Ethiopia and other countries that aimed to promote business opportunities in Ethiopia and convince investors to make Ethiopia their ideal destination.
