Dubai Investment Park keen on building industrial park in Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, April 5, 2023 (FBC) – Dubai Investments Park (DIP) expressed its keen interest to build an industrial park in Ethiopia.
Ethiopian delegation led by Aklilu Tadese, CEO of Industrial Parks Development Corporation, visited the Dubai Investment Park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Apart from the visit, the delegates held a wide-ranging discussion on investment issues with Salim Al Hajeri, the Park’s International Commercial Manager.
The manager said that DIP in collaboration with IPDC is interested to build an industrial park on 1,000 hectares of land in Ethiopia.
He said that the desired industrial park will include facilities that can provide multiple services including manufacturing facilities, residential apartments and administrative buildings.
The Industrial Parks Development Corporation has previously been in communication with the Dubai Investments Group via online, it is confirmed.
The Dubai Investments Park is one of the largest investments in Dubai, covering 2,300 hectares and employing more than 8,000 people.
