Expertise France to launch a rehabilitation program in Afar region

Addis Ababa, April 4, 2023 (FBC) – Ambassador of France to Ethiopia, Remi Marechaux has visited Abala Hospital in Afar Region, and discussed with a team of the facility and local authorities on how to restore the health institution.

It was stated on the occasion that Abala Hospital was rendering health care services to 350,000 people in Afar and Tigray regions before it had been affected by the war.

Expertise France and the French Embassy in Addis Ababa will soon launch a rehabilitation programme to support the facility, the Embassy stated.
