Norwegian to deliver 10T of emergency aid to drought-stricken children in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa March 6, 2023 (FBC) –The Norwegian Airlines is set to deliver 10 tons of emergency aid to drought-stricken children in Ethiopia.

The emergency aid flight marks the return of Norwegian and UNICEF’s “Fill a Plane” initiative which is now conducted for the sixth time.

According to Aviation 24, the emergency relief is Norwegian’s sixth flight in collaboration with UNICEF for children that are affected by drought in Ethiopia.

Norwegian’s aircraft was loaded and departed with 10 tonnes of emergency aid from UNICEF’s warehouse in Copenhagen, the world’s largest humanitarian warehouse, Aviation 24 stated.
