A high level Ethiopian Delegation, led by Finance Minister Ahmed Shide arrives in Beijing

Addis Ababa, February 21, 2023 (FBC) – A high level Ethiopian Delegation, led by Ahmed Shide, Minister of Finance, has arrived to Beijing, China on Monday for an official visit to discuss bilateral trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Delegation which includes Mamo Miheretu, Governor of National Bank of Ethiopia, Lelise Nami, Commissioner of Ethiopian Investment Commission, Eyob Tekalegn (PhD), State Minister of Ministry of Finance and other senior government officials, will hold strategic meetings with key government ministries as well as Chinese financial institutions and investment companies.

The Delegation will also participate in the Joint Economic and Trade Commission and an Ethio-Chinese investment forum organized by the Ethiopian Embassy in China.
