National Dialogue Commission holds discussion with stakeholders

Addis Ababa, January 23, 2023 (FBC) – The National Dialogue Commission of Ethiopia is holding a discussion with religious fathers, civil societies, elders and various stakeholders in Addis Ababa.

According to ENDC, Deputy Chief Commissioner Hirut Gebreslasie, gave an explanation regarding the main activities that the Commission has carried out so far.

At the forum it was disclosed that the concept of national dialogue and its importance and other issues are discussed.

The main reason to hold the national dialogue is to establish lasting peace in Ethiopia and to build a strong and unified state, Deputy Chief explained.

ENA reported that the commission is continuously discussing with various stakeholders as the participation and support of all is necessary for the efforts to create national consensus and lasting peace in Ethiopia.
