DPM & FM Demeke meets with MWL delegation

Addis Ababa, January 13, 2023 (FBC) – The FDRE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs held discussion with the delegation of Muslim World League (MWL) at his office.

Abdulaziz Sarhan, the League’s Chief Coordinator for Europe and USA & Advisor to the Secretary General of MWL led the delegation and participated in the discussion with DPM & FM Demeke.

The consultation, according to Ethiopian Islamic Affairs Supreme Council (EIASC), focused on the international peace, development, health, and education plans that MWL intends to implement in Ethiopia.

Demeke affirmed that the Ethiopian government is ready to provide the necessary support and assistance for all the development works that the Muslim World League intends to undertake in Ethiopia.

EIASC’s statement on social media indicates that MWL delegation will hold discussions today with senior officials of other offices in Ethiopia.
