PM Abiy discusses with IMF Managing Director
Addis Ababa, December 14, 2022 (FBC) – The FDRE Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, held productive discussion on Wednesday with Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the sidelines of the ongoing U.S.-Africa Leaders’ Summit in Washington, DC.
Both Prime Minister Abiy and the IMF Managing Director discussed on Ethiopia’s transformative economic reform agenda.
The Premier confirmed on social media that they also advised about the need for debt resolutions.
During the discussion, Prime Minister Abiy expressed Ethiopian government’s resolve to preserve past gains.
He also explained the government’s commitment to further deepen his country’s economic reform.
