Ethiopian Federal Police chief becomes president of EAPCCO
Addis Ababa, December 8, 2022 (FBC) – The Ethiopian Federal Police Commissioner, General Demelash Gebre-Michael became the President of the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO).
The FDRE President Sahle-Work Zewde attended the 24th General Assembly of the Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization.
The Inspector General of the National Police of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dieudonné Amuli Bahigwa, who was serving as the President of EAPCCO, has handed over his responsibilities to Commissioner General Demelash Gebre-Michael.
The Ethiopian Federal Police Facebook post stated that Comm’r-Gen. Demelash Gebre-Michael has been elected as the President of Eastern Africa Police Chiefs Cooperation Organization (EAPCCO), replacing Dieudonné Amuli Bahigwa.
The 24th EAPCCO general summit is being held in Addis Ababa since December 4, 2022.
