Preparing Women with necessary skills key to help them reach next level of leadership: President

Addis Ababa, August 26, 2022 (FBC) – The 5th round of the Presidential Women’s Leadership Training Program ended on August 25, 2022 with the graduation of 35 trainees.

President Sahle-Work Zewde, who was present at the closing ceremony, stated “preparing women with the necessary knowledge, skills and self-confidence was a priority in order to help them reach the next level of leadership”.

A total of 143 women leaders from all regions, from government, civil society and the private sector took part in the five rounds of training which started on January 31st, 2022.
