Germany announces 7.5 million Euro humanitarian assistance to Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, August 17, 2022 (FBC) – The Government of Germany has extended 7.5 million Euro assistance to Ethiopia in response to humanitarian needs in the country.
The assistance will be distributed to people affected by manmade and natural disasters in several parts of the country, according to the German Embassy in Addis Ababa.
According to the Embassy, the support delivered to Ethiopia is part of the total 34.5 million Euros humanitarian grant Germany has announced to six countries.
The bilateral relations between Germany and Ethiopia dates back to more than a century, and through GIZ Germany has been supporting the vocational and education training and other socio economic sectors in the country.
