Addis Ababa City plans to plant 4 million saplings in a day

Addis Ababa, August 17, 2022 (FBC) – Addis Ababa has reportedly scheduled a program to plant a staggering four million saplings overnight on August 18, 2022.

Reports from the Mayor’s office indicate that the green legacy program will be held in the 11 sub-cities of Addis Ababa from 6:00 a.m. in the morning.

At the event, the Mayor’s office called for youths, students, enforcement agencies, religious leaders, artists, investors, volunteers and all the residents of the city to stamp their bright green legacy in the places prepared for planting in every district of the city.
