WFP’s humanitarian convoy of 308 trucks arrives in Tigray

Addis Ababa, June 11, 2022 (FBC) – A humanitarian convoy facilitated by the World Food Program (WFP) has arrived in Tigray loaded with food aid. WPF said the humanitarian convoy is the largest in its kind.

According to WFP, the humanitarian assistance is to be distributed to 800,000 people in need in the region.

In week ahead WFP will start new 6-week round of food distributions in Afar and Amhara, after completing recent deliveries, it is stated.
