Nation collects close to 27bln birr revenue in May

Addis Ababa, June 11, 2022 (FBC) – Ministry of Revenue announced that nation collected 26.9 billion birr revenue in month of May.

The Revenue Minister Lake Ayalew noted that income collected has increase by 8.9 billion birr or 28.4pct compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.

The income has increased the income that has been collected during the past eleven months to 309 billion birr, according to the Minister.

This year’s revenue has increased by 50.3 billion birr compared to what was collected last budget year.
