A steel mill with a capacity to melt 450 tons of iron inaugurated in Dukem town

Addis Ababa, June 11, 2022 (FBC) – A steel mill with a capacity to melt 450 tons of iron has inaugurated in Dukem town, Oromia Region.

The steel plant constructed by Tadash Steel Manufacturing Industry is also said to have a capacity to produce 600 steel bars on daily basis.

Tadash steel mill which has been constructed at 50,000 ha of land with a cost of 5.8 billion birr is expected to create jobs for 700 citizens.

Factory would play a significant role in saving foreign currency being spent to import steel products.
