Coca-Cola Beverages Africa inaugurates $100mln mega plant in Ethiopia
Addis Ababa, May 31, 2022 (FBC) – Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Ethiopia inaugurated its 5th mega manufacturing plant in Sebeta town, Oromia region.
Chief Administrator of Oromia Region, Shimelis Abdisa and Industry Minister, Melaku Alebel along with other senior government officials has attended the inauguration ceremony.
In his remarks on the inauguration ceremony, the Industry Minister, Melaku Alebel said Coca-Cola has been playing a big role in the development of industrial sector over the last 62 years.
The 100 million USD worth manufacturing plant is said to have a capacity to produce 100 million bottles of beverage per annum. Coca-Cola has so far created job opportunities for more than 30,000 people in Ethiopia.
