Mekelle city gets 4bn birr built facilities
Addis Ababa, February 15, 2020 (FBC) –The Tigray regional state today inaugurated 4 billion birr built infrastructure in the city of Mekelle.
The inauguration was attended by Dr Debretsion Gebremichael, Deputy Chief Administrator of the regional state, Keria Ibrahim, Speaker of the House of Federation (HoF) and other officials.
The infrastructure inaugurated today in connection with the 45th founding anniversary of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), included asphalt roads and a square called Agazi.
In a related development, a foundation stone was laid yesterday for the construction of hospitals, a modern bus station, schools and other facilities in the city at a cost of 1.3 billion birr.
