Ministry, KOICA award best tech developers, startuppers in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, April 19, 2022 (FBC) – Ministry of Innovation and Technology in partnership with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has awarded 15 technology developers and startuppers for outstanding achievements in an innovation completion.

The award is aimed to create interconnection between young innovators and startuppers, it is stated on the award ceremony.

State Minister of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Baysa Bedada (PhD) noted that such competitions would help expedite Ethiopia’s technology transformation. During six months, close to 200 technology developers and startuppers won financial awards ranging from 1,500 USD to 3,000 USD.
