PM Abiy Ahmed expresses condolences over passing away of Gelesa Dilbo

Addis Ababa, March 31, 2022 ( FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has expressed condolences on the passing away of the former leader of Oromo Liberation Front (OLF). Prime Minister Abiy said Gelesa was struggling for freedom of the Oromo people since the students’ movement.

Gelesa returned home in response to the call made by the reformist government and joined the peaceful political struggle in the country. Gelesa was a member of the House of Peoples Representatives after winning election as a non-partisan politician.
