PP announces corrective measures against members to better serve public interest
Addis Ababa, March 15, 2022 (FBC) – Prosperity Party (PP) stated that it has taken corrective measures against members who failed to meet its criteria in order to cement party’s internal unity and better serve interests of the public.
Party said it has conducted in-depth evaluation on 108, 258 leaders and consequently has taken measures against 10, 658 of them.
In a press briefing regarding the First Congress, Party’s Vice President, Adem Farah disclosed that PP has also fired 2,574 members from different leadership positions as per the corrective measures.
Adem added the party will cascade a coordinate plan at all levels in regions and hold discussion with the general public to address challenges from the grass-root levels.
Efforts exerted to prop up Ethiopia and maintain resiliency have been fruitful, the Vice President added.
