Dr. Lia Tadesse shares Ethiopia’s experience on enhancing primary health care on 4th Dubai Health Forum 

Addis Ababa, March 6, 2022 (FBC) – The Health Minister Dr. Lia Tadesse has participated on the 4th Dubai Health Forum where she has shared Ethiopia’s experience on enhancing primary health care access and quality as a core foundation for the realization of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). 

Dr.  Lia also spoke on ‘Improving Quality and Excellence in Health Care Delivery’ in the context of Ethiopia’s health care service endeavors.

She also held fruitful bilateral discussions with Dubai Health Authority, Nabadat Initiative, Noor Dubai Foundation and VPS Healthcare on different existing and potential areas of collaborations around expanding speciality and primary care. 

She further extended gratitude to the UAE government and the private institutions, for the collaboration and support in various health development initiatives in Ethiopia.
