Ethiopia will play a role in deepening cooperation between Africa and Europe 

Addis Ababa, February 17, 2022 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed who is attending the 6th EU-Africa Summit in Brussels affirmed the commitment of Ethiopia to play a role in deepening current and future cooperation and partnership between Africa and Europe.

“I firmly believe that the EU-AU Summit will produce the inputs we need to deepen current & future cooperation and partnership between the two continents in order to achieve sustainable development,” the Prime Minister noted.

“Ethiopia, as a founding member of the AU, will  play her own role in this regard.” Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed underscored.

Prime Minister Abiy has so far discussed with various officials of the EU on ways of strenthing cooperation and partnership between Ethiopia and the EU.
