Ethiopia participates in Green Legacy Initiative led tree planting in Djibouti

Addis Ababa, February 3, 2022 (FBC) – Ramping up the Green Legacy Initiative, Djibouti planted trees accorded by the Government of Ethiopia, with the goal of turning Djibouti green and mitigating the effects of climate change.

The tree planting ceremony was held with the presence of Fatouma Awaleh Osman, Mayor of Djibouti City, representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture of Djibouti, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Ethiopian Embassy & its staffs, as well as members of the Ethiopian diaspora community.
