Ethiopia-Sudan joint cross-border development cooperation conference under way in Assosa town

Addis Ababa, December 29, 2021 (FBC) – Joint Cross Border Development Collaboration Program Conference between Benshangul Gumuz Regional State of Ethiopia and the Blue Nile State of Sudan is under way in Assosa down.

The high level delegation of the Blue Nile State of Sudan arrived yesterday to attend the joint conference.

Ahmed Al-Umda Badi, President of Blue Nile State of Sudan and Ashadli Hassen, President of Benshangul Gumuz Regional State of Ethiopia are jointly chairing the conference.

The two regions have been working closely on major cross-border development areas based on the MoU they have signed so far.

They have reviewed activities that have been conducted so far, and are expected to set forth directives for future collaborative engagements.
