Reports of some western media in contradiction to the realities in Ethiopia: President Sahle-Work

Addis Ababa, December 17, 2021 (FBC) – President Sahle-Work Zewde who in a working visit to Côte d’Ivoire said that reports of some western media are in complete contradiction to the realities in Ethiopia.

President Sahle-Work Zewde discussed with President of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara on bilateral issues and the current situation in Ethiopia.

Saying that Ethiopia has become a major issue on the media, President Sahlework Zewde said the country is not undergoing what is being reported by some western media.

President Alassane Ouattara, for his part, reassured President Sahle-Work that his government is in opposition to any undue pressure against Ethiopia, pledging continued support to Ethiopia in clarifying the realities in the country for the rest of the world.
