Communities in Addis Ababa raise over 240mln birr support to people affected by TPLF aggression: Mayor

Addis Ababa, December 10, 2021 ( FBC) – Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie announced that various segments the communities in the capital have raised over 240 million Birr to people affected by aggression of the terrorist TPLF in northern parts of Ethiopia during the last two weeks alone.

Mayor Adanech stated that members of the business community, farmers, religious institutions, civic society organizations, Youth associations and public servants have participated in the fundraising activity.

Residents of Addis Ababa have extended support to people affected by TPLF atrocities and backed the operation for Unity in Diversity.

Visits conducted by residents and public representatives in the capital at hospitals where  wounded troops are receiving treatments and battle fronts show their strong solidarity with Ethiopian joint forces fighting to preserve sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation, the Mayor underlined.
