Commissioner, Safaricom discuss preparations for commercial launch in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, November 23, 2021 (FBC) – The Investment Commissioner Lelise Neme has discussed with officials of Safaricom on preparations being undertaken by the company to launch commercial activities in Ethiopia.

On the occasion, the officials of Safaricom have provided the commissioner with updates on their preparations for commercial launch in line with supporting digital Ethiopia objectives.

Commissioner Lelise, for her part, said “Together with our Investors we will build a vibrant, prosperous economy and make Ethiopia a shining example of growth and economic dynamism.”
