Diplomacy Center establishment ceremony underway in Hawassa City

Addis Ababa, November 19, 2021 (FBC) – Hawassa City is hosting Diplomacy Center establishment ceremony in attendance of high level government officials including Spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Dina Mufti.

The establishment of such a Diplomacy Center that has been intiatited by Hawassa University is aimed to create a strong diplomatic community in the instuation in the light of the ongoing national efforts underway to defend national interests of the country at international arena.

In his opening remarks at the ceremony, Ambassador Dina said the center will play a crucial role in supporting government’s efforts in consolidating capable diplomatic community in the country.

The center will also help strengthen capacity to counter the undue pressure from some external powers and the media campaign by the western media against the nation.
