DPM Demeke holds talks with U.S Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa

Addis Ababa, November 18, 2021 (FBC) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Demeke Mekonnen holds talks with U.S Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Jeffrey Feltman Jeffrey David Feltman on current issues.

Demeke briefed the Special Envoy that humanitarian flights have been allowed to Kombolcha and Lalibela.

He also told the U.S. Especial Envoy that 369 trucks loading humanitarian support have headed to Tigray.

According to Government Communications Service, the two discussed on situation related to American nationals living in Ethiopia.

The terrorist TPLF has continued committing atrocities in Afar and Amhara Region, he said, calling the U.S. to force TPLF to withdraw from the two regional states.
