A UNISFA delegation commends Ethiopia’s role in ensuring peace in Horn region
Addis Ababa, November 18, 2021 (FBC) – A delegation of United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) led by Colonel Mack Tok has visited the 24th motorized battalion of peacekeeping force mission post.
During the visit, Head of the delegation, Colonel Mack Tok said Ethiopia has been applying its longsstanding and profound experience in peacekeeping in ensuring peace in the region.
Ethiopia is bringing about incredible results in restoring peace and stability in the region and addressing communal disagreements in the Abyei and surroundings.
The Ethiopian peacekeeping force has played indispensible role in bringing normalcy and creating peaceful environment for communities of the area, he added.
