PM Abiy holds phone talks with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven

Addis Ababa, November 8, 2021 (FBC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has held phone conversation with the Prime Minister of Sweden on various issues of mutual concern.

The two discussed bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest. Prime Minister Abiy appreciated Sweden for the lasting contribution to Ethiopia’s reform journey.

In 1945, Ethiopia became Sweden’s first foreign aid receiving country and the bilateral relations have developed since then.
