Harar Celebrates Maulid Colorfully

Addis Ababa, October 18, 2021 (FBC) – The early major center of Islamic learning and UNESCO world heritage site, Harar, celebrates Maulid colorfully.

Celebrants chanted spiritual songs that revere the kindness and holy deeds of the Prophet Mohammed.

Religious leaders and Islamic scholars cited verses from Quran and called on the faithful to follow the example of the Prophet in their lives, striving for harmonious living with fellow human beings.
